The Tweets of Home Office Highway
Uncategorized July 29th, 2009The week in review: Ten days of tweets for Home Office Highway. It’s a great way to recap the trip…
1. I told the tweeps at the Disney Entrepreneur Center today about ‘florists’ going on line. Then USAToday sez, http://short.to/l5ds
2. Remember, people – Social Media is all about your consumer, listener, follower or friend. The good vibe you get in turn is just gravy
3. See? This is how you tweet via mobile – sharing ideas & observations
4. Wow! What a crowd at the Disney Entrepreneur Center! Gotta love biz owners eager to learn!
5. Folks at the Disney entrepreneur center are about to get a dose of social media for small business. Remember: it’s about them, not you.
6. When The Cloud fails, @philmontero wonders about Google Gears. I don’t want ALL my stuff local but maybe that’s the solution to lost wifi
7. Sitting outside a Georgia KOA waiting n the dryer. Wifi works. And remembered the Dingo bones for Stella. Happy dogs = happy campers
8. No TV for the past 8 days. Know what? Haven’t missed much. BUT, if you’re hotellin’ and need the boob-tube, http://short.to/l16m
9. Speaking on Social Media & Small Biz Marketing at Orlando’s Disney Entrepreneur Center Wed 7/29 http://www.disneyec.com Stop by & see RV
10. Is a day at Six Flags on @homeofficehiway a business expense?
11. In the words of the Allman Bros., we’re Southbound. Still have Georgia on our minds. But a speech at the Disney Entrepreneur Center beckons
12. Logged on, bought & printed 3 tix to Six Flags – & saved $30 in the process. Then boxed & stashed the HP portable printer (kissed it first!)
13. Robbie’s on the netbook by the campfire sending Zoe a Bunknote that’ll be printed at sleepaway camp Monday. Anything wrong with that?
14. Even (especially) in the woods, troubleshoot IT. Googled ‘Google Docs outage’ Seems others had issues w/Firefox & GDocs. Launched IE. Voila!
15. Here I sing The Cloud’s praises, and Google Docs goes down. Free time to write with no access my data. Alas, The Cloud’s inherent failing
16. On the netbook as the camp awakens, someone just likened me to Tom Cruise in RV (it was Robin Williams). But that wasn’t her point I imagine
17. What 10 must-have accessories fill the Home Office Highway back-pack? http://www.homeofficehighway.com
18. Anything strange about blogging & tweeting outside the camp laundromat while waiting for the clothes to dry? Hey, have a connection? Use it
19. Sunrise is quiet in the camp. Even the birds and katydids rest. Soon, people awaken. Smoke & the scent of bacon & coffee rise from campfires
20. Got an email offer to ‘Live Your Dream Today’ As I vacation for 2 weeks in an RV with my family and Stella, do they know something I don’t?
